Here's a combination of images highlighting this weekend's events at Whitehorse Road Recreation Ground and Boxpark, Croydon.
Saturday was a lovely hot day in the sun- and the wind- It was so windy that I ended up doing some accidental face-painting as the children's work blew into their faces! We had to abandon the paint and go for dry materials- pastels only! This was a great first event for the Selhurst May Festival- the combination of stalls, food and music made for a great atmosphere.
On Sunday I had a stall at Boxpark, Croydon, for the Made in Croydon Makers' Market. This was a great get-together for the creatives of Croydon and I picked up a lot of good business tips as well as a new hat! At 2pm I ran a Charcoal Drawing Workshop, using Cuban cars as the theme (well, American classic cars in Cuba). We had a lovely relaxing time just doing a bit of drawing whilst the happy shoppers milled about. The Made in Croydon crew had taken over the sound system, so the chilled music added to the cool vibez . Looking forward to the next one!
