This morning I was delighted to receive the summer edition of the Anglo-Ethiopian Society News File- with my painting, "Very Young Hamer Girl- The Corkboard Painting" on the cover!
Inside the magazine is an article, "How the Women of the Hamer Changed My Life" which documents my first trip to the Lower Omo Valley in Summer 2015 and describes the profound effect the tribeswomen I met had on me.
Here is the magazine, lying on the coffee table at home amongst some other arty magazines!
I'm very excited to see so many images of my work in print. I have included some tantalising snippets of my article here, I will print the full article at a later date.
In the meantime, if you would like a copy I will try to procure one for you.
Here is the newsletter alongside an A4 giclee print of the original painting- if you nip over to my online store now you can take advantage of FREE P&P until August 12th. A3 prints are also available at my online store.
And finally, here's the magazine with the real thing...
