Interpretations of Love
The Interpretations of Love Exhibition Private View at the Elizabeth James Gallery was a great success.
It was incredibly busy throughout the evening and the atmosphere was so lively and happy. The Mayor of Croydon, Wayne Trakas Lawlor, was the Guest of Honour and he certainly contributed a great deal to the fun of the occasion!
The exhibition runs until the end of February so please do pop in.
The work of all the artists is for sale.
Here I am with Elizabeth James and the Mayor- and more art enthusiasts in the background!
Yesterday I held another Charcoal Drawing Workshop at Matthew's Yard, Croydon. (Here you can see my publicity machine in action. )
It was another really lovely afternoon of just meeting nice people and doing a bit of drawing!
Many people have asked if I will do more workshops and this is certainly something I am interested in.
It is such a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
Yet again I was amazed by the talent and the enthusiasm of everyone, whatever their age or experience.
I have lots more photos on my facebook page, so please do have a look.
I have another Charcoal Drawing Workshop coming up at the Elizabeth James Gallery on February 25th.
My paintings are still on display at Matthew's Yard throughout February- then they will move to the Click Clock Gallery, Croydon, for all of March. I shall also be exhibiting some never-seen-before work and my son Lucas's work will also feature at the Click Clock Gallery.
Not forgetting of course, my prizewinning painting, which will be on display at Bankside Gallery (next to Tate Modern) with the Royal Watercolour Society from the 3rd-15th March!
